AI for All: Paving the Way for Nonprofits to Lead the Future—For Free in 2026
As we look ahead to 2026, Good For Others is embarking on an ambitious journey to bring the power of artificial intelligence to the heart of the nonprofit sector—completely free of charge. While this initiative is still on the horizon, our team is already laying the groundwork to ensure it’s a resounding success.
Building the Foundation: Research, Listening, and Ethical Frameworks
In preparation for the Nonprofit AI Institute’s 2026 launch, we have been deeply engaged in understanding the landscape. Over the past year, our team has conducted extensive research and hosted listening sessions with nonprofits in the San Diego region. We've asked them what they need, what challenges they face, and how they envision AI fitting into their missions. This process has reinforced that AI is critical right now, and many nonprofits simply don’t know where to start. We are committed to helping them adopt the ethical and moral frameworks needed to integrate AI responsibly.
Learning from the Best: Insights from the AI Conference
To ensure that our upcoming initiative is both innovative and impactful, we recently attended a major AI conference in San Francisco. There, we connected with thought leaders, explored cutting-edge tools, and gathered insights on how to tailor AI solutions specifically for the nonprofit context. This experience reinforced our belief that with the right guidance, nonprofits can not only catch up but become leaders in using AI for social good.
A Vision for 2026: Empowering Nonprofits with AI—Ethically and Free
We know that the future will demand that at least 25% of daily nonprofit management tasks integrate some form of AI. With that in mind, we are also working hard behind the scenes to develop robust policies and ethical frameworks to guide this integration. We want to ensure that nonprofits are not just using AI, but doing so in a way that aligns with their values and serves their communities ethically.
We are thrilled to announce that Good For Others is partnering with philanthropic organizations and the state to secure funding that will allow us to provide this AI training at no cost. This will be a unique value-add to the region, ensuring that all nonprofits have access to the resources they need to thrive in an AI-driven world. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting announcement.
